Every artist at Big Johnson's attends an annual bloodborne pathogens and principles of infection control training course, which meets the requirements of OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.

Big Johnson's Body Art Studios is one of the only tattoo/ piercing studios that offers monthly autoclave spore-testing in Monroe. The results are kept on-site to ensure that our equipment is sterilized using the highest standards in the tattoo/piercing industry. By adhering to the highest industry standards, you will receive a professional piercing by a professional piercer. Only the highest quality of jewelry the industry has to offer is used. Please feel free to check out the standards that are put in place by The Association of Professional Piercers.

At Big Johnson's Body Art Studios our specialty is custom tattooing. We do have a large selection of "flash" ( pre-drawn artwork ) on the wall to choose from, however, with the skill and talent of the artists working at Big Johnson's Body Art Studios, your options are never limited to just picking a design off the wall. A tattoo is something personal that deserves personal attention in creating the tattoo. We focus on making each and every tattoo as unique as the person getting it. The only way you will ever have the same tattoo done at Big Johnson's Body Art Studios as someone else is if it was planned that way or you chose something off the wall. Sometimes there are individuals that simply want a piece of flash off the wall just as it is for what ever particular reason. That is also done here at Big Johnson's simply to please you, our most important concern, our customer. However, You never have to worry about seeing someone with your tattoo if you get it custom designed for you by an artist.

Please feel free to come by, ask questions, and get a feel for the shop. In addition to the work on this site, we also have portfolios and artwork hanging on the walls. We want our customers to feel comfortable about getting a professional tattoo or piercing from us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering us for your tattoo and/or body piercing.
